Admiral Insurance Group Selected for the 2025 RISE Elite 50 Internships List

Admiral Insurance Group, a Berkley company providing wholesale-dedicated excess and surplus (E&S) lines commercial insurance, was selected for the 2025 RISE Elite 50 Internship list and was also recognized for Best Intern Led Project.

RISE is an insurance community dedicated to empowering early-career professionals and attracting the next generation of talent to the industry. Their annual Elite 50 Internships List identifies the 50 best internship programs in the U.S. insurance industry. The companies that made the list were selected based on key criteria, including mentorship opportunities, leadership development, diversity and inclusion efforts, unique approaches to experiential learning, and overall program impact.

RISE The Elite 50 Internships - 2025 Award Badge

Our internship program has come a long way since its launch in 2016. We started with four interns and recently expanded our program nationally to include 21 interns,” states Admiral’s Vice President of Human Resources and internship program organizer, Renae Gary. “We are proud to be recognized by RISE on their 2025 Elite 50 Internships List for our immersive and dynamic program!”

Admiral’s ten-week internship program encompasses five areas of expertise: underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance, marketing, and human resources. During this time, interns work together in groups on a business idea, collaborating with both fellow interns and employees. They have access to the entire organization, spanning all departments and levels, including the President. At the end of the program, each group presents their findings and proposed business ideas to the leadership team. Admiral’s leadership team then discusses the ideas and determines how best to integrate them into Admiral’s plans.

In addition to their business idea, Admiral interns are invited to immerse themselves in Admiral’s culture, including off-site activities as well as philanthropic efforts.

Admiral is now recruiting interns for their 2026 summer internship program.
