  • I play trombone and one of the highlights of my musical career was playing a concert with Ray Charles.
  • I am an avid tennis player and recently started playing Pickleball.
  • I met my wife in the college marching band and now we have kids that are in their high school and college bands, respectively.
  • I’ve coached travel baseball for over 10 years and I’m on a mission to visit every MLB ballpark.

Professional Bio

Stephen Jones

Stephen Jones is Vice President of Business Development at Admiral Insurance Group, where he is responsible for strengthening relationships and fostering collaboration between Admiral and its wholesale brokers. One of the many ways he does this is by designing and delivering training programs for underwriters and leading educational programs for wholesale brokers.

Stephen started in the insurance industry in 1998 through INROADS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating career pathways for high-potential students. Through this program, he joined Chubb as an Underwriter, and has since steadily moved up the career ladder, including Executive Underwriter, Regional Manager, and National Underwriting Manager.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Morehouse College. Stephen remains actively engaged in professional development through his involvement with several organizations, including Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA), National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA), and Atlanta Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP).
