Professional Facts
- I once worked on a project for the New York Archdiocese to restructure its financial reporting platform. At the time, it felt odd for me, a Jewish kid from Long Island, to tell the Catholic Church how to operate its finances.
- When I worked at a start-up, I did anything and everything from compiling investor pitches, handling payroll, dealing with employee benefit coordinators, picking up the mail, and cleaning the company’s apartment. Usually, all in the same afternoon.
- I was in the World Trade Center on 9/11, and to this day, I feel blessed that I survived. I still carry my building ID to remind me of the event, the incredibly brave firemen who were going up the stairs while I was going down them and ground myself in what is really important.
Personal Facts
- I live in Randolph, NJ, with my wife, Jaci, and have three sons, Eric, Michael, and Alex.
- I enjoy cycling (when I don’t fall), golf (when the ball goes straight), and traveling to warm places (when it doesn’t rain).
- My basketball game needs work, but I’m still holding out hope that the NY Knicks will be calling any day now.
