Professional Bio

Bob Mescher is the Senior Vice President of Casualty at Admiral Insurance Group, where he is responsible for the oversight of Casualty Lines teams.  

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Bob brings a wealth of knowledge to Admiral. He started his insurance career in 1988, training in commercial lines at a leading U.S. property and casualty insurer. He went on to spend 14 years at a global reinsurer in account executive and leadership roles. After a short entrepreneurial stint, Bob joined Admiral in 2009 as a Senior Underwriter of Casualty Lines and has advanced in the company to his current role as SVP of Casualty.  

Throughout his career, Bob has specialized in underwriting complex Casualty accounts, both in the traditional and alternative insurance marketplace. Bob’s extensive experience has equipped him with a unique understanding of the industry, allowing him to provide exceptional guidance and support to his team at Admiral. 

Bob graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies – Economics, History, and German.
