Dan Smyrl

Dan Smyrl is the President of Admiral Insurance Group and leads more than 300 employees dedicated to providing creative solutions for hard-to-place risks. Dan has been with Admiral since 2002 but started his insurance career in 1982. He has since obtained extensive knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in underwriting and management. Dan holds an Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) and an Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designations. Additionally, he is on the board of the New Jersey Surplus Lines Association (NJSLA). Dan is originally from Philadelphia but now resides in Medford, NJ. He has a son, Jake, a daughter, Jessica, and is a dog dad to Ash, a Charcoal Lab. Ash loves to visit Admiral and say hi to everyone, and everyone loves the puppy-therapy!
